Research worksheet
Market evidence checklist
Before interpreting a dashboard score, record what it measures and what supports it. This checklist separates observations, model outputs and your own interpretation.
Free to read and print. No account, app installation or subscription required.
A worked reading example
Illustrative example, not a market observation or app result. A dashboard updated this morning contains one monthly observation from last month and another input from yesterday. A fresh dashboard timestamp does not make both inputs new. Record the input dates separately. If the dashboard calls its result neutral while one factor is positive, record that disagreement without assuming a fault or predicting a reversal.

- Question, market and observation window
- Observed price/data or model output?
- Dashboard update time and time zone
- Underlying input dates and units
- Source and methodology reference
- Factors that support the interpretation
- Factors that conflict with it
- Stale, missing or revised inputs
- Shared inputs or possible double counting
- What remains unknown and what would change the interpretation
An evidence or confidence label is not automatically a calibrated probability. Missing information is not zero, and agreement among related inputs may not provide independent confirmation.
